I LOVE teaching women, no seriously; I love being in a space surrounded by like-minded women who all wanna see each other win. My favorite thing to witness while I am teaching is watching a woman receive the revelation that...MONEY MATTERS. I mean come on, how many of us grew up learning to say that "money doesn't matter, money can't buy you happiness, money isn't that important, blah blah blah…" Only later to find out that HELL YEAH MONEY MATTERS!
Money can't technically buy me happiness, but it for damn sure gives me choices. And if you don't know, choices lead to happiness because choices are how we create a better life for ourselves, family, and community. So not only does money matter, money is IMPORTANT. Money is important because money can solve problems, increase efficiency, and help those in need. Money opens doors, money leads to different territories, and money elevates your health.
And this is why women must learn that it is okay to desire money. Women need to give themselves permission to acknowledge their desires and go after them passionately. Making money doesn't make you a horrible person. It doesn't mean you are less humble. It doesn't mean you are greedy. It means you are ambitious. It means you are worthy. It means you understand that you are designed and destined to be prosperous.
So here are the 3 Money Mindset shifts every woman needs to understand and implement:
1. Money is Freedom:
Remember I said money gives you choices, and sometimes the choice you need to make is to leave. Sometimes you need to leave a job, a relationship, or a location; and all of these require money.
2. Money is Unlimited:
Read this slowly because I need you to digest it. You can ALWAYS make more money because there is always more money.
3. Money is NOT evil:
There is a Bible verse that people use incorrectly to make people feel guilty. Instead of typing it, I will say this: prosperity is part of God's promise for us; therefore it cannot be evil. What you do with money is what makes it corrupt. So if you are not a corrupt person…then you will use the money to be a blessing.
In brief, I want EVERY woman I cross paths with to walk in her purpose. Once a woman gets into complete alignment with her dreams and desires, money flows organically. Yet, the flow stops if she doesn't believe she is worthy. The flow stops if she fears she will become evil and selfish. The flow stops if she has a crap ton of self-doubt, insecurities, and guilt rooted in society's BS.
So do me a favor and commit to THINKING differently as it relates to money. Realize you are good with money, and most importantly, allow yourself to accept all that comes your way.
