STOP OVERCOMPLICATING CONTENT

It never fails…as soon as we get to the Content Creation Module of my Coaching program, my clients start panicking. They panic because they feel like I've asked them to eat an elephant. But then I teach them my simple strategy and give them a list of content ideas and they quickly get into a flow that works for their business.

And guess what..today you are in luck because I'm gonna share the 4 types of content you should always be sharing with your audience, as well as a simple strategy to stop being overwhelmed so you can develop some consistency.

Let's start with the 4 main types and then I'll move on to how to take one idea and spread it across all the types:

1. Story Posts: Story posts are written posts that give insight into you and your brand. Story posts are great for teaching a method and/strategy as well as sharing a few of your life experiences. It's a way to draw people into your world.

2. Video: Videos are one of the best and fastest methods of showcasing your vibe and personality. Video attracts as well as repels people who are not feeling you. People buy from people they relate to.

3. Testimonials: Just like Amazon, people wanna know what other people's experience was working with you and/or how they liked your product. Yes, it feels like bragging…because IT IS and you've earned it!

4. Call to Action: You gotta tell people HOW they can work with and/or purchase from you. That's it and that's all. Examples: click here to download…buy…read…schedule a call, register, etc…

Now then HOW do you create consistent content and not burn out?

The method that works best for me is:

  1. I decide on a topic for the week.

  2. I create a blog post.

  3. I create a process post.

  4. I create a video.

  5. I create a graphic that includes tips around the topic.

  6. I create and/or find a quote - create a graphic.

And as you can see. I took one topic and turned it into 6 pieces of content. I didn't overcomplicate it. I didn't overthink it. I didn't come up with all the excuses of how much work it is going to be. Instead, I found I way to be consistent. Instead, I found a way to get my message to my audience in a variety of formats that work for numerous people based on their particular preferences.
